What a great weekend. Nothing beats relaxing with the family. As usual, our family had a very busy weekend. We like to jam as many activities as we possibly can each day. Friday we went to Transformers 3D! Great action movie and we of course went to Cinedome 12 because everyone knows they have the BEST popcorn. Saturday we woke up and got Fausto’s breakfast burritos (DELICIOUS)! We came back and laid in the pool and got some color. It was a beautiful, sunny, and hot day! The water temperature was perfect. We ran to the mall and did a little shopping! Becca and I got new swim suits! Saturday night we all went to the temple. Everyone went and did a session and I did baptisms. After the temple we went to Olive Garden. Who doesn’t love the bread sticks and salad? I know I LOVE them, especially with alfredo dipping sauce. It was a great night. Sunday, of course, we went to church. It was a stormy day. We BBQ’d steaks and made homemade french fries. It rained! There is nothing like a good thunderstorm with a down pour. I love the rain. That night we sat in the pool & hot tub and watched the crazy thunderstorm over the lake. Becca and I tested our new swim suits out! They are pretty dang cute if I say so myself. Monday we got up and got ready to go see 17 Miracles. It was a wonderful movie. It was about our pioneer ancestors. We all walked out of the movie very grateful for those who had sacrificed so much for the gospel. The Lord truly has his hands in everything that we do! After the movie we BBQ’d some burgers! The weather cleared up and we got ready for the fireworks up in Boulder City. We put on our matching shirts, got our Kentucky Fried Chicken, filled our 64 oz. soda cups, and headed up to the park. This year they had sky divers land in the park with red, white, and blue parachutes. The last jumper had a giant American flag. It was absolutely beautiful. Sky diving is definitely on my bucket list.Once the sun went down, the moon finally came out! I hadn’t seen it for few days! It was comforting to just sit back and stare up at it. The great part about the moon is that no matter where you are in the world the moon doesn’t change. It’s the same moon everywhere!
The fireworks show was awesome as usual. After the show we played some football. When we got home we lit off some fireworks. I love the 4th of July. I am truly grateful for those who have died to give us the freedoms that we enjoy everyday. Thank you to those who have died defending our country and thank you to those who are still defending our country. I am grateful to all of you!
Holiday weekends are the best because you get to spend it with the people that mean the most to you! There is nothing more important than family!

Katie's Bridal Party and Lion King
What a fun filled weekend!!! Rebecca and Justin came down on Friday and surprised Mom. She had NO idea that they were coming down to go to the Lion King with us on Saturday! We did good this year for her birthday! It's always nice to have family so close!
Saturday we had Katie's bridal shower! It went great and of course I did a great job at embarrassing her! Bridal games are always enjoyable for the guests and highly embarrasing for the bride to be! I am so happy for Katie and Dan! They are PERFECT for eachother. The big date is August 13th. I can't wait and I'm sure Katie is counting down the days:) After the bridal shower we came home and got ready for the Lion King. We headed to Burger Bar at Mandalay Place. It was DELICIOUS! The show started at 8! It was an amazing show. The costumes were unbelievable. You almost forget that they are people and start believing that they are actual animals. The singers were fantastic! We had a great time as usual. It's always great to have the family together. I am blessed to have such an awesome family! Love you guys! I can't wait for 4th of July and the Fireworks! Lovin' life and livin' it!

Nitro Circus
Last Saturday MGM Grand Garden Arena hosted the Nitro Circus. I was lucky enough to go see it. What a fun and crazy night.
Highlights of the night:
1. Travis Pastrana purposed to his long-term girlfriend, Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins. Pastrana said “I wasn’t supposed to do this until the end of the show, but I was so nervous I couldn’t wait. This is a night of world-first stunts, and this stunt involves the rest of my life." (If anyone is wondering...Lyn-Z said yes.)
2. Travis and Cam Sinclair landed the world’s first-ever, two rider synchronized FMX double black flip.(It was AMAZING!!!)
3. Travis used Gregg Godfrey's, CEO of Godfrey Entertainment, children to complete the first-ever three person FMX back flip. (Yes...they landed it!)
4. Aaron ‘Wheelz’ Fotheringham landed a front flip off the Giganta ramp in front his fellow Las Vegans. (Thank you Brother Fotheringham and Nick for the tickets.) Aaron has been in a wheelchair his entire life. What an inspirational story. Aaron makes you realize that how your life turns out and the things that you do with your life are all dependent upon your attitude. He has a truly inspiring attitude. He is the perfect example of what it means to never give up. When life gives you lemons you make lemonade. He is someone that people should look up to and strive to be like.
And finally...
5. The first-ever two rider mini bike combination jump! (It was neat!!)
Nitro Circus members are CRAZY and extremely talented! What a great show. If anyone says they aren't athletes...they are MISTAKEN. If anyone wants to read more about Nitro Circus and see some of these stunts check this link out...http://www.nitrocircuslive.com/

Snow Report
Well...if this weather keeps up...looks like the Wadley family will be heading up to Snowbird to do a little skiing and snowboarding at the end of June! Yes, you heard me right, Snowbird is estimated to be open during 4th of July weekend!!! Currently, Snowbird has a 177" base! I think this opportunity CAN'T be passed up. Snowboarding in June is definitely something to check off my bucket list! :) Lovin' life and livin' it! If you're not living on the edge you are taking up WAY too much space!
